A series of free workshops for those who attended our foundational community arts and facilitation workshop last year (Fall 2020 and Spring 2021) through the MABELLEarts Welcome to the Neighbourhood newcomer artist training program. These workshops are intended to deepen your learning and exploration into community arts with your fellow newcomer artists!

Topics covered
This short series of three workshops are to encourage practical experience in community arts facilitation. Session 1 covers facilitation basics: openings, activities, closings and online facilitation considerations. For session 2, participants are encouraged to lead mini facilitations of their own. For session 3, participants continue to lead mini facilitations and we end with a reflection session on the facilitations and where to go next.
